The Hong Kong branch was established in 1994. Together with the Singapore branch, the Hong Kong branch forms part of the RBS Coutts’ presence in Asia.

The Hong Kong office offers an extensive range of banking, investment and trust services with specialist staff based in the local office for an international clientele. Our private bankers in Hong Kong serve clients from mainly the North.

Asia. In addition, there is also a team which looks after clients from the South Asian community living in North Asia. Our bankers work closely together in country teams to enable our clients to reap the benefits of their in-depth knowledge of local markets, culture and environment in which our clients operate.

In the Asiamoney 2007 Private Banking Poll, RBS Coutts was ranked first in Hong Kong for client relationship management and servicing in the category for clients with assets of more USD25million.
